IET Faraday Challenge Day

On Friday 7th March, 7 pupils from the TAG (Technology & Girls) group went to Thomas Estley Community College to represent SCHS in an IET Faraday Challenge Day, competing against 5 other local schools.

The girls were involved in the design and production of a battery powered prototype product. The team was divided into different “real world” roles including Production Manager and Accountant. The girls worked together maturely and communicated their idea to the industry experts really well.
