• Monday 18 November 2024 Leicester Open Art Exhibition Update An update about our submissions to the Leicester Open exhibition at Leicester Art Gallery and Museum:
• Monday 28 October 2024 LEICESTER OPEN ART EXHIBITION Our students took part in an exciting opportunity last month when they entered their work into the Leicester Open Art Exhibition. The exhibition will be held at Leicester Museum and Art Gallery on Saturday 14th December 2024 until Friday 31st January 2025.
• Monday 14 October 2024 Brandon's Terrific Tennis Triumphs! Brandon C year 9, has had a busy summer of tennis.
• Friday 11 October 2024 Year 7 Team Building Day at Beaumanor Hall On the 11th of October Year 7 enjoyed a fantastic day at Beaumanor Hall.

• Saturday 21 September 2024 Round 1 Football Sucess Our U14 girls competed in round 1 nationals action away to Robert Smyth Academy last week.
• Tuesday 3 September 2024 JUDO SILVER MEDAL WINNERS Brothers Fabian year 9 and Ricco year 7 both took part in the British Judo Council Regional Championship for the Midlands, Nottingham - Leicester competition last weekend.
• Friday 30 August 2024 Scientific Work Experience During the summer holidays Poppy in year 11 had a week of work experience at Nottingham University within the Science department. Poppy had a fantastic time and came away with a new found interest in Microbiology and pharmaceuticals. Well done Poppy for gaining the place and attending, we are sure it will lead to great things!

• Friday 2 August 2024 Megan Moves into Last 16 in Paris Megan Havers moved into the last 16 of the Olympic women's individual competition by beating France's Amelie Cordeau 6-5 after a shoot-off. Megan had earlier beaten Spain's Elia Canales 6-0, will now be in action again on Saturday at 9:09 am.
• Tuesday 30 July 2024 Amazing Maya! Back in April we shared the amazing news that Maya and her dog Lola had been selected to be part of Junior Team GB, in the Junior Open Agility World Championships.

• Friday 12 July 2024 Summer Showcase Our Summer Showcase was a huge success, with wonderful musical performances from some of our older pupils, followed by a brilliant showcase of talent from our Year 7&8 Drama group. Our pupils performed a play called 'A Perfect Hell' which told the story of a new teacher starting at North Barnwood Academy and taking the naughty 7HEL to task! We were absolutely blown away by the talent on stage! Our Year 7 and 8's were then asked to perform again for our Year 6 pupils on the induction days.
• Tuesday 2 July 2024 OUR AWESOME OLYMPIAN We are delighted to finally reveal that one of our pupils, Megan Havers, has successfully gained a place in the GB Archery team at this summer's Olympics in Paris. This is an incredible achievement and we are so proud of her.
• Saturday 29 June 2024 Prom 2024 We said a final farewell to our wonderful Year 11 pupils at their prom on June 27th, and what a stylish farewell it was! Our pupils had a wonderful time dancing the night away at Beaumanor Hall, and then enjoying the beautiful gardens when the dance floor got too hot! It was wonderful to see how grown up our Year 11's looked and their behaviour during the evening was exemplary. The photographer, DJ and venue have all commented on how lovely and polite our pupils were and I have been told several times that they are a credit to our school. I couldn't agree more.
• Friday 28 June 2024 Rugby Training with Emily Scarratt The South Charnwood girl’s rugby team were thrilled to welcome professional rugby player and England star Emily Scarratt to our training session last week.
• Monday 11 December 2023 Christmas Lunch Year 7 enjoyed their first South Charnwood Christmas lunch on Monday 11th December.
